Lana Jeanne Taber
Lana grew up the youngest of three girls, which she says didn't keep her out of the dairy barn. She had to do her share of the farm work.
Somehow, she developed a keen sense of humor that likely got her out of some escapades with less than a scolding. To this day her quick wit and comical outlook can diffuse almost any situation.
Marrying while she was still in highschool was, according to some, a mistake. But Lana proved that she could, and would, finish highschool, keep house, cook for Dan, and anyone else who came along!
Her time as a shower hostess must count in the millions of hours--a task she does beautifully. Her ability to direct receptions, open houses, weddings, trips, and keep everyone laughing in the process, is legendary. Through her work at a couple of banks, her "I will" spirit is notable. Always generous, Lana has helped many people by her patience, financial expertise, and willingness to be a servant.
For years she has contributed vocally to her church choir, as well as singing at special events. Helping with the church nursery is her special gift--rocking babies a specialty.
Mother and grandmother--she always has time to cook and shop. We're told that whatever vehicle she drives will not pass a Wal-Mart without turning in!
