The baby of seven, some say Lillie was spoiled. She could be obstinate, fun-loving, mischievous, and enterprising. She was a legendary game player--and usually the winner, by one method or the other!

After her marriage she lived in other towns, including Oklahoma City and Ft. Smith, AR before moving back to Shawnee. She became receptionist, bookkeeper, technician, assistant, and general "Girl Friday" for Dentist E. C. Cranston; a position she held for more than 35 years. To say she was dedicated and self-sufficient is an understatement. She singlehandedly put her son Don through OSU, while maintaining a home, yard and full-time employment. After Dr. Cranston retired, she was much in demand as a companion to elderly persons. She was the number one caregiver to her own parents in their declining years.

Lillie was a faithful member of the Church of Christ. She had many friends and admirers. Some of those who admired her most were nieces and nephews whom she treated as equals.

She loved Don and his family; and often made trips to California to spend time with them. Her love of travel was an inherited Sealock passion. Her little dogs were always an important part of her life.
