Elizabeth Ethyl Sealock
Known as "Lizzie" as a child, Elizabeth entered the Sealock family the year of Oklahoma Statehood. She was a beautiful fun-loving person, with a winsome
personality. When others spoke of the "beautiful Sealock sisters" she must surely have been one of those who helped earn that title. Her laughter was
contagious.
Becoming the mother of two sons and two daughters would surely have kept her busy. However, she seemed to have time to include many others in her home. She
was a good hostess and the coffee pot was always on for neighbors and family. (At least one of her siblings remarked that you could drink Elizabeth's coffee
all day because it was a little weak!) In visiting her home, we were always made to feel welcome--along with neighbors and friends of her children who were admitted through her seemingly revolving doors.
She was a perfect helpmeet to Hughey, a wonderful mother and grandmother, and special to her nieces and nephews. She was a faithful member of the Church
of Christ; one who cooked or otherwise responded to the needs of the entire church family.
