June Ellen Sealock
An only child for 19 years, June was destined to become a spinster--and a second mother when little brother Carlton came along.
June was the "movie taker" of the Sealock family. On her family's annual treks from Wisconsin to Oklahoma, June always brought along the camera and projector. She would direct Uncle Carl as he showed the jerky movies on a sheet or other makeshift screen. That was a special treat for all the Okie cousins, and possibly for the adults, too.
June had a gentle nature and loved to visit with family in Oklahoma. She would tell about her job, her friends, and her trips. Occasionally, she would bring one of her friends to Oklahoma for a visit. Quite often she would bring little trinkets for the cousins. Even though she lived her life away from the rest of the family, she was always interested in everything about our lives.
June lived out her life with her parents, then stayed in their home after they were deceased. She was a faithful, caring daughter.
